For the first use, the CS4 PCP compressor must be filled with a full tank of pure water or antifreeze before turning on the power. Do not turn the grease knob until after 4-6 hours of use; then, turn it one turn. Otherwise, it will cause poor performance. After finishing the inflation, please release the bleed valve first, and do not start the compressor when there is still air pressure inside.

This CS4 model was designed with two stages of check valve inside. When working, it does not leak, but after turning off the power, it may leak pressure from the second stage check valve. For example, the pressure can drop from 300 bar to 200 bar in several minutes. This is normal, and there is no need to worry.

The CS4 compressor supports a maximum design pressure of 5800 psi/400 bar, but that does not mean you can fill the maximum pressure anytime. Almost all PCP tanks and bottles only support 4500 psi/300 bar as the service pressure to avoid safety problems, although they state the burst pressure can be over 50 MPa/500 bar. As a result, the burst disc coming with the compressor only supports 350 bar as the burst pressure. If you fill over 350 bar, it will be blown. The CS4 PCP compressor has a new upgraded 350W motor and adopts four-stage compression technology. It is very stable when working and very quiet, with only 70 dB. The maximum filling pressure is 5800 psi/40 MPa.

First, confirm the maximum safe pressure of your gas cylinder and do not over-inflate, as it will cause safety problems. The compressor is equipped with a double-pointer pressure gauge and a two-level setting auto-stop pressure, which is more secure.

A water tank and a grease tank are designed on the top of the compressor. The excellent cooling can achieve 5 hours of continuous work and can fill a maximum 6.8L gas cylinder. For the first use, it must be filled with about 500ml of neutral distilled water or antifreeze (pH around 7). Be sure to add neutral antifreeze if it freezes in your area. Compared to the previous model, this CS4 compressor has a 15% faster filling speed. Filling a 0.5L tank from 3000 psi to 4500 psi only takes 4-5 minutes, and filling a 0.5L tank from 0 to 4500 psi only takes 14-16 minutes. Filling a 6.8-liter bottle from 0 to 4500 psi takes 2 hours and 40 minutes.

When the filling is complete, please close the bottle valve first (when filling a bottle) and then open the compressor's bleed valve to release the line pressure. All pressure must be released from the compressor before starting.
